Operating two fabricating facilities, Banker Steel Company, LLC is an AISC-certified* steel fabricator headquartered in Lynchburg, VA. We partnered with Montague-Betts, an investment and real estate company, in 1997 and employ approximately 215.
We specialize in projects up to 25,000 tons, servicing the entire East Coast. We offer excellent office and field support, and a quality product fabricated on time. We focus on customers with the intent of forming long-term relationships.
Fabricating facilities are in excess of 300,000 SF and include:
- Over 50 overhead cranes (50 ton maximum capacity)
- A temperature-controlled paint bay
- A Bridge Shop which utilizes an 8-wheel blast machine and submerged arc welders

- One 56" cold saw
- Three band saws
- Two CNC 5 press beam lines
- Two CNC drill lines
- Two CNC burn/drill tables
- Two beam cambering machines
