The Virtual
Build

Our model-driven abilities allow us to sequence erection and place bracing, shoring structures, and cranes in the most advantageous areas to allow for efficient construction. We regularly run reports based off these models, checking gridlines to ensure pinpoint accuracy in everything we do onsite.

PROJECT
TRANSPARENCY

Weekly meetings take place with our clients in order to provide project transparency. We layout project milestones and updates as well brief project owners on safety and any fabrication issues. We share our model and reveal what steel has been detailed, fabricated, and erected. Additionally, our customers have access to our barcoding system in order to view the status of their project as often as needed.

SAFETY IS THE PRIORITY.

While our mission is to provide unparalleled quality and speed, it is not at the cost of safety. With working on some of the most complex buildings in high traffic areas comes the responsibility of protecting the general public and safely returning our teams home everyday. We engage our craft in:

  • Start of the day safety huddles to brief crews on the day’s pre-task plan.

SAFETY COCOON. HOW IT WORKS.

We aren’t shy about the fact that we conceptualized, designed and build the first safety cocoon ever used to ensure safety in tight, urban spaces.

  • The netting system is a sophisticated method of providing protection for the public and personnel working on and around the construction site.
  • Its lightweight design and custom hydraulic system allow it to seamlessly climb the face of the tower as erection progresses.
  • Each structure demands unique connection points that our detailers include in shop drawings.

INTERNAL CLIMBING TOWER CRANE.

This unique system allows for a crane “inside the structure” rather than on the exterior of the building where cranes typically occupy valuable space in cramped urban areas. Powered by a hydraulic system, the internal climbing tower crane:

  • Reduces raising time.
  • Reduces crane operation expense.
  • Increases safety.
  • Requires less steel support than traditional crane systems.
  • Allows work to continue below the crane.

Each crane sits on a square steel basket secured to structural columns, making each crane uniquely suited for the geometry of the building. The upper basket of the crane extends first during a “crane jump” cycle followed by the lower basket.
