International Gem Tower

The International Gem Tower shines in the heart of NYC’s Diamond District and serves as a reminder of a pivotal point in Banker Steel history. The 11,500-ton skyscraper fabricated by Banker Steel was one of our first forays into major projects in New York City. AECOM Tishman built this 35-story office building specifically for precious gem and metal dealers, so it is designed with both security and aesthetics in mind.
This impressive tower has won multiple awards, including American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Gold Award for its structural systems and the National Certificate of Recognition from American Institute of Steel Construction.
