Project Description
One Vanderbilt Grand Opening
September 14, 2020
The grand opening of Manhattan’s magnificent One Vanderbilt took place today. Standing 1,401 feet tall with over 77 stories, 26,000+ tons of steel, and 1.7 million square feet, One Vanderbilt was constructed ahead of schedule and under budget thanks in part to Banker Steel and NYC Constructors. One Vanderbilt, located in East Midtown in New York City, will be home to office tenants as well as retail and restaurants, while also boasting over $17 million in sustainability features, ensuring the tower maintains one of the lowest carbon footprints across similarly scaled buildings in New York City. The building also features transit infrastructure improvements which will greatly ease congestion and overcrowding. Banker Steel is proud to have fabricated and erected the steel for this entire building.
